Tutoring and Academic Support
In addition to help from professors' and TAs' office hours, free peer tutoring and academic skills coaching is available for all undergraduate students. Tutoring is used by students in all years and at all levels of understanding.
Find a Tutor in a Specific Course
Peer tutors in a variety of courses are available during drop-in hours and by appointment. Peer tutoring in these courses focuses on helping students develop the problem-solving and analytical skills needed to understand, synthesize, or apply complex material.

Get Help with a Writing Project
Stanford provides several different resources for students who would like one-on-one advice about a writing project.

Get Help with an Oral Presentation
The Oral Communication Program offers courses, workshops, appointments and drop-in hours for Stanford students who want to improve their oral communication skills. Our Oral Communication Tutors (OCTs) are available by appointment or during drop-in hours.
