The IHUM Section-Only Change Request form is now closed.

March 6, 2008

Section-only change request forms for spring quarter IHUM courses will be available beginning Friday, March 28 at 8 am. The first round of requests will be processed by Monday, March 31 at 8 am.

After that change requests will be processed twice a day, Monday through Thursday. (There are no Friday evening postings, nor any at all on Saturdays or Sundays.) You must get your request in at least one hour prior to each posting period (8 am/pm) in order for it to be processed by that time.

These forms will close on Wednesday, April 9 at 5 pm.

Below is additional information of which you should be aware.

IHUM Course and Section Registration
The 4-unit place-holder course "IHUM 101" should already appear in students' Axess study lists.  This will remain on the study list until after the Add Deadline, when the Registrar will upload the specific IHUM course number and section number into Axess.

Spring Quarter IHUM Course and Section Assignments
Winter/spring IHUM courses are a two-quarter commitment.  Students are pre-assigned to remain in the course sequence that they started in January.  You may not switch from one IHUM course to another. Spring quarter sections are taught at the same times as in winter quarter.  All students are pre-assigned to their winter quarter section time.

The First Week of Spring Quarter IHUM
The first day of class is Tuesday, April 1. All lectures will be held the first week of class, but only the second of the two sections will be held. Monday/Wednesday sections meet Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday sections meet Thursday, and Wednesday/Friday sections meet Friday that week.

You can now check your IHUM Assignment, as well as submit course and/or section change request forms, on the IHUM Enrollment and Course Change Information page.

The first round of change requests will be processed by 8 am on Monday January 7, as long as they are submitted before 7 am. Other change requests will be processed twice a day, Monday through Thursday. (There are no Friday evening postings, nor any at all on Saturdays or Sundays.) January 2, 2008

Forms in which you can enter your preferences for your winter/spring IHUM sequence are now closed. Course and section assignments will be processed and posted no later than 5 pm on Sunday January 6 on the IHUM Enrollment and Course Change Information page.

IHUM Course and Section Information

Section change request forms are open from 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6 until Friday, January 18 at 8 a.m. Assignments are updated at least twice daily (8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.) throughout this time period. Please see the IHUM Enrollment page to check the following information:

  • your current assignment
  • course and section changes
  • section only changes
